We recently tried out a new format on YouTube – bundles of themed tutorials compiled into a single extra-long video without any interruptions from ‘intros’ and ‘outros’. Our idea was that these videos could keep you company and provide inspiration – whether you watch during a painting session or while you’re cooking, cleaning or crocheting!

These two have been well-received so we’re planning to do more. (Be sure to check that notifications are on in YouTube if you’d like to know when they’re published!)

Ad-Free Videos here on our Website?!

Another new offering that’s in the pipeline is the option to watch our tutorials without advertising here on dianeantone.com. At the moment the only way you can get ad-free viewing is via Patreon. Over on Patreon we already have a Collection of nearly 200 of our realtime watercolor tutorials which are available to top-tier patrons with no advertising. Where applicable they also come with easy sketch downloads, right on the same page as the tutorial. New tutorials are added to the Patreon ad-free library daily.

We’re also keen though to make it possible for you to view ad-free tutorials “on-demand”, so you would pay a (very reasonable) one-off amount to get lifetime access to a tutorial or a bundle of tutorials on a similar theme. This is something we’re working on actively behind the scenes right now so if you have any thoughts on the idea, or specific requests, let us know in the comments on this post and we’ll take your feedback into account.

What about ad-free content on YouTube?

If you’re a Create YouTube member and wondering when you’ll get access to ad-free tutorials… we haven’t forgotten you! In fact delivering ad-free content to you, our most loyal YouTube members, is one of the main driving forces behind the decision to offer ad-free content on our website – because YouTube’s policies make it impossible to turn advertising off on their platform.

The plan is that once it’s up and running for one-off purchases, we will then add a membership feature which will make it possible for us to grant you access to the whole library, just like on Patreon. And Create Members who have supported us for over a year when we launch this feature will be in for a special surprise!
