Hi Insiders!

Our latest long video has just gone live on YouTube AND on Patreon... and this is the longest one yet!

It's 4 1/2 hours long and includes ELEVEN full-length whimsical birds tutorials. This is the PERFECT place for beginners to start. Between them, the tutorials cover a very broad range of techniques, materials, tools and styles.
For the first time, this video is available both on YouTube (with ads) and on Patreon in an ad-free version for our Inspiration and Connoisseur tier supporters.

But if you're not a Patron, you don't have to pay to watch!

Our Inspiration tier on Patreon, which includes hundreds of ad-free tutorials and one-click sketch downloads, also offers a FREE 7 DAY TRIAL. So pick a time when you know you'll be able to kick back and relax, sign up for the free trial, and you'll have a week to enjoy the Whimsical Birds without any interruptions from ads.
(And of course we hope you'll decide to stick around and support our work on Patreon!)

Are you planning to paint along with the new Whimsical Watercolor Birds collection?

If so, you'll want to know that every tutorial has a traceable sketch to go with it, and we've collected all of them into a single convenient bundle which you can download from our website:

BUT WAIT!

Before you pay for this bundle... are you an Inspiration Patron?
If so, you get the sketch bundle FREE in a one-click download attached to the video!

How to Use the Sketches

All of our sketches are high quality scans which have been converted to pure black and white. This means that when you print the sketches out there's no annoying grey cast across the page - something that usually happens when you take a photo, or use a lower quality scanner.
Because of this, it's definitely possible to print our sketches directly onto your watercolor paper. But that's not the best way of using them!
The sketches are designed to be traced onto your paper in pencil, so that you can make adjustments to suit your needs, and erase the lines afterwards. Learn how here:

To Inspire You...

This week's inspiration comes from Australian artist Leisa O'Brien who I discovered on YouTube today. She has been painting and teaching for many years, and a couple of months ago she started publishing short tutorials on YouTube every Friday. Here's the first video of hers that I watched, earlier today:
Thanks for reading, and we hope you enjoyed this edition of the Insiders' Newsletter.
See you next week!
