When watercolor meets journaling

Easy wet-in-wet fun

with an inspirational twist

Today, we’re playing with wet-in-wet watercolor techniques to create a vibrant, loose autumn journal page or sketchbook entry.
The wet-in-wet method is one of the most satisfying ways to paint. Allowing the pigments to flow, blend, and bloom on the paper takes away the pressure — you just sit back and let the paint do the heavy lifting!
Once our background dries, we’ll layer in loose calligraphy and add simple leaves, berries, and woodland details with ink. There are no strict rules here, so wet your paper, grab your brushes, and let’s see where the watercolor takes us.

Sneak Peek

(coming soon to top tier Members and Patrons)

Preparing for my latest YouTube video took me down many and various interesting avenues of exploration over the course of multiple days. I have created a special behind the scenes video describing my thought processes, and re-creating my experiments and choices in color, composition, content, and technique.

As I created this new exclusive video, I had in mind those of you who are looking for help freeing yourselves from the need to copy tutorials - so that you can enjoy your own true creative freedom.

It will be shared very soon to our top tier supporters - "Create and Paint" and "Connoisseur" YouTube Members and "Watercolor Exclusives Plus" Patrons.
