Hi Insiders!
There are three things we need to tell you about this week: Christmas cards, two new mug designs, and YouTube dubbing. Oh, and a coupon code :)
Only Seven Weeks
...until Christmas, that is!
If you're planning to paint your own Christmas cards this year, we've got you covered.
Our latest YouTube video is a compilation of 18 fun ideas using a wide range of techniques, all of which can be adapted easily to make an infinite variety of designs.
These long videos take quite a bit of work to create, but the feedback we receive about them makes it all worthwhile - and this one is off to a great start, with YouTube telling us that subscribers are 11% more interested than usual. (Yep, YouTube loves its stats!)

New Mugs
This year's Christmas mug is now available on our website, and for anyone who'd like to start a collection last year's Three Robins mug is still available.
We've also added a cute Whimsical Sheep mug, which is something we've been meaning to do for a long time now!

Do you know about our Christmas coloring books? Each one of them has a dedicated playlist on YouTube (linked from the product description).
We've got a coupon for you this week, which gives you one coloring book free when you buy the other one - or when you spend a minimum of $6 on anything on our website.
Just add the coloring books to your cart, and apply the coupon code above at checkout.

If you don't have an account on our website yet, just request one by completing this short form and we'll create your account and you'll receive an email with login details.

(Please be patient because this is a manual process - we stopped automatic registration because we want to know that there aren't any spam bots visiting our site!)

Is there an AI talking to you?
If you live in a non-English speaking country, there's a chance that you've been surprised to find yourself listening to a dubbed version of one of my videos recently. This is a new feature that YouTube is trialling, and we are part of the trial.
We're hoping that this feature will make our videos accessible to many more people around the world, and we're really interested to hear your feedback if you've been delivered a dubbed version of a video - on our channel or any other channel.
BUT we also want to make sure you understand that it is not us creating the dubbed version - it's an AI-assisted, automated process that YouTube is developing - and also that you CAN turn it off! As far as we understand it, you control dubbing in the same place as you control subtitles / closed-captions.

Watercolor Inspiration from Cairo: Unlocking Creativity with Middle Eastern Mosaic Tiles
If you've ever traveled to the Middle East or even just seen photos, you've probably noticed the stunning mosaic tiles that adorn everything from fountains to doorways. Here in Cairo, traditional tile designs are everywhere—in homes, shops, and historic buildings—and each tile feels like a small masterpiece. These designs are often complex but beautifully harmonious, featuring geometric patterns, intricate overlapping …

To Inspire You...
This is an idea I was working on last week, which didn't quite make the cut for a YouTube video - and now it's all hands to the Christmas decks. So I'm sharing it with you here in case you like the idea. It think it has a lot of potential for doodling and mark-making, and the technique we played with a while ago of negative painting in white onto a dark background would be fun to try out too. If you explore this idea please be sure to share it on Facebook or Patreon!
